- Her mother and her finally begin to associate with people of their neighborhood, specifically the big man in the community, Tyrone.
- At first he seems a little frightening to the kids but as time progresses they get use to him.
- He teaches the children not to be scared of the men in the "green coats".
- 'Mommy' gets pregnant by Tyrone, but he leaves her and pays no mind to her.
- He come back and fourth and causes chaos to the family. People of the community are shocked, in disbelief because Tyrone is now very involved with the family
- She is finally on her way to college.

- Now that she is pregnant and alot of issues are evolving, why wont she just move out of the neighborhood?
